Vanessa's Local ContextRising sea levels may be present globally, nationally, but it can also be seen locally. Therefore, rising sea levels can increase and cause the disappearance of certain countries which will cause the water to expand, but it won’t be healthy. The water may multiply its size, yet this doesn’t mean it will be accessible to the other countries. As countries are disappearing, it will be harder to get freshwater. This will then cause the water to be considered restricted water access. Which means that large corporations to make business out of the people by putting prices on the water since it will be harder to provide.

Angel's Local ContextThese stronger storms affect marine ecosystems which can result in affecting our food supplies from the ocean. Forced migrations, species becoming extinct, and increase in bacteria thriving in places where it did not use to thrive could have an impact in our community. Because of a lot food is imported to the United States from different places around the world, our community can face a shortage of food being brought to our local stores. It can also result in higher food prices if the populations of specific fish decrease. It affects us in many ways.
